Write a reflection about the classes you oriented this week (bear in mind the following aspects: what you planned, what you did, and what you would do differently if you were to teach your lessons again). Give examples and descriptions of those situations that, in your view, are relevant to your learning experience.

The second week allowed me to identify the issue in this classroom, even more, parents do not company their kids in scholar assignments, I have planned the classes to be divided into four sections where we were going to work one season at the time, in the first class of the week, kids were supposed to bring real objects into the classroom in order to work on winter objects, they did not bring them so at the very last moment I had to change the main activity for the vocabulary to be introduced. The same thing happened on the Tuesday class, this shows me that parents do not revise students’ books, and that kids can forget the important things kind of easily. I gave some activities shorter, but while doing them, I had to give the students more time, I also learned that I would have to plan activities that can be performed by all students and not only by two or three of them, even though I felt good in the whole class, I know I have to develop a strategy that can help me with the classroom management because I know students behaved very messy in a part of the class.

Why I decided to be a teacher

My name is Laura Lizeth Rubiano Vargas, I am 20 years old. I was born in May 1, 1999; I was born in Aipe-Huila, my parents are Zoila Patricia Vargas Puentes, and my father is Gerardo Rubiano Rubiano. In this new week I taught class to first graders, I can say that my skills for planning classes have developed a lot more, on week number 5, I had some problems with the plans I had made, but I feel way more satisfied this week because I can surely say that the goals I proponed were successfully achieved, kids had more fun than on the fifth week because this week activities were more dynamic and more didactic, I had promised myself that I will try to at least include 2 ...
